Reuben Borst
DIRECTOR

Starting in the building industry in the late 90’s Reuben has been fortunate enough to gain a variety of skills working with some amazing tradesmen as a labourer. This provided Reuben with an understanding of how a project is constructed enabling a realistic design. In 2016 after having spent 13 years working in the frame and truss industry fulfilling roles from manufacturing through to management Reuben felt it was time to work in the engineering sector. Here, Reuben has been filling the role of company director and also drafting and technical support. Outside working hard at RES Engineering Co Reuben enjoys mountain biking and spending time with the family who support Reuben and provide him the confidence and encouragement to improve and excel in his role.

Andrew Walsh

Senior Structural Engineer

Andrew joins the RES Engineering team as an engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the local construction and consulting industry. He specialises in the structural design of building and infrastructure projects from concept stage through to completion and handover. When he’s not spending time with the family, he’ll probably be found scuba diving, hiking or playing indoor cricket.

Nathan Morris
Structural Design Draftsperson

Nathan is highly qualified in his field having completed and Advanced Diploma of Engineering Design in civil and mechanical engineering in 2010. Nathan is passionate about knowing how things work and began his career as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer and design draftsman for Direct Edge working on military machinery, ambulances, and mining vehicles. Nathan is highly capable and committed to his work pursuing a long-term career within the field of engineering. Nathan’s addition and skillset is welcomed to the RES engineering team which he joined in 2021. Nathan’s other passions outside of work consist of reading and researching military history as well as designing elaborate maps and landscapes on table tops for role playing quest games.

Slawek Misiun

Slawek has over 20 years’ experience in the engineering consulting industry working in a variety of sectors including Gold, Copper, Nickel, Uranium, Iron Ore, Mineral Sands, Pulp and Paper, Water, Power Generation and Distribution, and underground mines, both on owner’s teams and engineering service providers. This has included senior design and hands-on roles. Slawek was the Senior and Lead design Engineer working on number of Australian and International projects in Asia, Africa and in Europe. He is familiar with number of Australian and International engineering design codes and standards.
